"The Farmer" Omar Morgan began with Rudd Farms in March of 2011. Omar brings with him 10 years experience in Organic Farming. His experience is vast and extensive. From growing organic vegetables and fruits, to raising chickens, turkeys, ducks and also bee keeping. At one time being the largest free range egg producer in Napa County. Omar's General Contracting & Wine Cave Building background helped tremendously in starting Rudd Farms. Farming encompasses the skills of a Carpenter, Concrete Worker, Electrician, every skill imaginable. Erecting fences, building greenhouses to the gentle hand of sleeping with 100 baby chickens for the first 5 days to bond with them. Omar's motto is "Farm to table, and Then Back Again" which is "The Essence of Sustainability". More on that later. We are thrilled to have Omar aboard to lead Rudd Farms into the future of farming.
